This facility had a unique challenge in that the resilience and flexibility of the DuraFuse Frames connection was advantageous due to the minimized protected zone and the ability to use sloped moment connections. The challenge was that there was not sufficient edge distance for our typical connection. This led the design team to select the DuraFuse Haunch connection.
